According to Times of India, KTM have confirmed they will bring 390 Adventure to the Indian market in 2019. The upcoming 390 Adventure is said to resemble company’s larger adventure bikes. Engine-wise it is said to use the 373cm3 single cylinder engine that’s currently used in 390 Duke and RC390.
Large wheels, long-travel suspension, protective fairing and pannier racks ensure that the upcoming model should be ready to tackle proper adventures. The 390 Adventure aims mainly at Indian small dual-sport segment, which is gaining popularity with models such as BMW R310GS and Honda CRF250 Rally. Most likely it will be made available globally, however.
Date for presentation remains to be set, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the new model was unveiled either at Eicma or Intermot in the autumn of 2018.
