Moto Guzzi gave a pre-presentation of the new V9 Bobber Sport to the fans of the Italian brand during the open house event of its historic Mandello del Lario plant last weekend.
V9 Bobber a sports custom, commemorating the bikes built by the post WWII era American riders. Their stripped-out bikes were fitted with oversize tyres, ideal for flat track racing, and the new Bobber Sport is a further homage to this racing oriented origin of the bobber style.
V9 Bobber Sport’s low single seat is complimented by low mounted drag bar. This gives the rider a compact and sporty position. Sportiness is enhanced by fully adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers. The sound of the 850cc V-twin is enhanced by street-legal slip on exhaust system.
The Bobber Sport has a model-specific colour scheme of gritty orange combined with matte black. Dark shades can also be found on the engine cooling fins, the billet aluminium fuel cap, the headlight frame and the instrument cluster graphics.
To enhance the presence of the bike the front mudguard is shortened, and the headlight is surrounded by a small aluminium fairing. As a finishing touch the fork tubes are protected from dust by black rubber gaiters.
