Kawasaki presented Ninja 125 and Z125 entry level models exclusive to the European market. Technically the bikes are similar: both pump out 11 kilowatts and over 11 Nm of torque. The design of the Ninja 125 is derived from Kawasaki’s superbike and Z 125 follows the edgy sugomi philosophy of Kawasaki’s larger nakeds.
In addition to the 125’s Kawasaki presented the updated ZX-10R family, with increased power thanks to finger follower valvetrain – the power now peaks at 210 hp with ram air – and even more powerful Ninja H2, which is claimed to produce a staggering 243 ram air horsepower, making the Ninja H2 the most powerful production street bike in history. Accordingly, also brakes have updated to be able to handle the increased power.
